Club Engagement Days

haresfinch

Haresfinch and Wigan Spring View served up a cracking treat of rugby league in a closely contested Division 2 league game for the Dominos Pizza, St Helens, Game of the week!

The game was played in fantastic warm sunny conditions, with the temperature reaching over 24 degrees in a warm Summer's afternoon.

The game saw Haresfinch take a helathy lead into the second half, however Spring View came back and with the score Haresfinch 36 v 30 Spring View, the last 2 minutes were end to end. Haresfinch eventually scored on 80 minutes and took the game 42 v 30.

The following three awards are available for community clubs to try and win:

- The Steve Prescott award for ‘Commitment to community engagement’

- The Lee Briers award for ‘Team of the season’
